[FARC] March Meeting Reminder - Spring Check-Up

Don't forget - the March meeting of the Frederick Amateur Radio Club 
will be held at 7PM on Monday 3/17, at the Independent Hose Company on 
Baugmans Lane in Frederick. 

The program this month will be "Mobile Installation Tips", presented by 
Bob N3UHD.

Following his talk, Bob will have a professional service monitor 
available for anyone who would like to get a high-level functional 
checkout of their HT, mobile, or other Ham rig.   Among other things, 
this equipment can quickly tell whether your rig is actually 
transmitting "on frequency", whether FM deviation is within limits, what 
the real power output is, etc., etc.

So dust off the rig of your choice, and bring it along to the meeting 
for a checkup.  We'll have a power supply available.

We'll also have a couple of MFJ antenna analyzers available if you'd 
like to check out that mag-mount VHF/UHF antenna that's taken a beating 
for the last few years on top of your car, to see where it resonates.
