[FARC] FM Packet

Rolan, thanks for the info on Packet. I have a problem though. I have a
serial port on the Kenwood, but my computer does not have a serial port,
only USB ports. So, right now I cannot connect the Kenwood to a computer.
My Rigblaster interface came with a serial/USB adapter cable but it will not
fit the Kenwood's serial port. So I'll have to dig up a cable from
somewhere, many stores like HRO, AES have them so I'll put in an order for
one this week.

Once I get a cable, then I'll have to go through the Packet/TNC setup
chapter in the Kenwood manual which looks pretty involved. Additionally,
the TNC in the Kenwood is limited to the number of commands it can do, so it
remains to be seen if it will even work at all. With computers there is
always something that is a pain.
