For those using AOL and other services that may default to HTML and/or 
MIME formats for their outgoing email, here is a link to a list of FAQs 
and some instructions on how to change outgoing emails to plain text 
format, so they'll be accepted by the mailing list.

You'll need to determine what version of AOL or other service you're 
using, then you can find and follow the instructions on that page for 
changing outgoing mail to plain text.

An alternative to messing around with email clients that refuse to play 
nice is to switch to something like the Thunderbird email program.  
Thunderbird is free, it's easy to download, set up and use, and it is 
very flexible.  You can read more about it and download it at
