[FARC] Hamfest Cookout

Hi, Jeff

Thanks for the invitation.  Unfortunately, that's my
night to be NCS on MARS so I will have to decline. 
But I look forward to helping out at the next hamfest.
 

Since you are one of our ARES/RACES officials, I would
like to ask you a question relating to my ARECC-III
course that I am working to complete the next few
days.  One of the learning unit activities requires me
to contact ("interview") one of the folloiwng local
ARRL field organization appointee to find out his/her
emergency communications support roles:  

Official Emergency Station (OES)
Offical Relay Station
Technical Specialist
Public Information Officer (PIO)
Local Government Liaison
Official Observer
Official Bulletin Station

Are you one of those appointees, or do you know of
any?  I need to complete the course by Sept. 7, so
your help is appreciated.  I suppose that one
of the group is PIO or Govt Liaison, but if Frederick
County doesn't have anybody like that, aybe I'll just
contact you to explain how we work around it.
