[FARC] Hamfest Cookout

Greetings All!

Things are coming together nicely for our Hamfest Appreciation Cookout on the 15th of Sept., 6PM, at the CAP building. Again, all club members and volunteers (and their immediate families/significant others) are invited. The club will bring hamburgers, hot dogs, sodas and tableware. All we ask is that you bring something to share (salad, baked beans, potato salad, chips and dip, dessert, etc.) with the group. We have some chairs, but you may want to bring your own to make sure that you have a place to sit. Some games for the kids would be nice too. This is a rain-or-shine event - if it rains we will move the party inside.

Anyone who can bring a grill (gas or charcoal), please let me know. We can use a few. If you know someone who helped at the Hamfest, but is not a member of the club, let them know that they're invited. The shack will be up and running for your hamming pleasure. Any ideas for this activity are greatly appreciated (a DF contest/demonstration?).
