Thanks Chuck
I forgot about not being able to go above -15. My thoughts were to just use
the same number for the ports and the port number. IE
port 3 has the ssid of -13 port 4 is -14. I was just thinking that looking
at the config files this would make it easier to remember what is going to
what port!!

I was just starting to set up the axip and thought I had octothorped it
out..... It's things like this that I keep missing when I try and do so
much at the same time...

I'll look at it....

Here is what I get right now when I log in

login as: root
root at n4xeo.no-ip.com's password:
Welcome to Knoppix (Kernel 2.4.22-xfs)

You have mail.
root at fpac:~# fpacnode
nrconfig: port 3 not active
nrconfig: port 4 not active

FPAC-Node v 3.26 (fpac)

callsign: n4xeo
FPAC-Node v 3.26 (F6FBB - Dec 18 2002) for LINUX (help = h)

W4AKH-8 (Commands = ?) :

The problem with the two ports not talking was all Murphy's fault!!
In the rsports file when we started to configure it we had the callsign it
there instead of the nnx. I went through each file and this was one of the
last ones to look at to find it. Once I changed from call to nnx I was able
to forward from the bbs on port 4 out the switch on port 3 to the n4xeo
fpac box at the EOC. I still need to get the files changed around there to
add this new fpac box to the network.
I'll have to get with John on adding the info to the other switches so they
can connect to me.

Think about it .....
A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?
