Attached is a short write-up on the WL2K SMS port.  This still experimental
and we are doing initial test now between Bud and myself.

The SMSNode (or some variation of it) is what would run in the Linux box. It
provides a bridge to the WL2K network directly via TCP.  The end user can
still use any conventional packet terminal program.

There is also already an existing (for about a year now) Telnet port into
WL2K which can handle standard BBS<>BBS forwarding with either AirMail or
other FBB telnet ports. This telnet port is not directly into the WL2K
Central server but to any WL2K PMBO that is running the Telnet Server (now
about 10 or so with full  time IP connections).

I would like to learn more about the Linux stuff and will check out the
reflectors.
