[FADCA] Points of Clarification

I assume that sms= ShortMessageSystem or something similar. Is that a
app that runs on the user end or is it something that has to run on
both the user and the network side?
Can you give point me to a set of files about it.

Bud,
The SMSNode software is currently still only Windows but it should (so he
says) be straight forward to re compile for Linux and this is in the plans.
Any volunteers for this job would be much appreciated!

My question is hardware related:
To pull off this "LINUX FPAC box" does that require running FPAC/LINUX in
the computer AND having some hardware interface"box" other than comports
out to TNCs, radios, phone lines, etc?
Rick KN6KB - see below - does this work for your SMS stuff where we have an
internet connection at the "LINUX FPAC box"?
