If I wasn't the first, I was the second, person to recommend the CM-500. I've
used them on both my original K3 and a new K3S. IIRC I've gone through three of
them; buying new ones when the pads wear out. I have never had RFI issues with
them (or anything else for that matter). The only ferrite in my shack is the
stuff molded on some of the computer cables I use. I wish my TS-890 had the
same rear-panel capability as the K3(S) for using these.
