[Elecraft] [KX2] Digi Mode Newb looking for advice

I suggest starting with PSK31 on 20M. There are usually signals
at 14.070 and up when the band is open. I see the advantage as:
PSK31 is symmetric so it will work with both sidebands. Not
having to worry about whether the higher frequency signal on the
air is also higher in your computer lets you get things like
audio levels an keying working. Then when you try a mode like
RTTY, most things work making finding out what is wrong easier.
There are lots of programs which support PSK31, including the
popular fldigi which runs on Linux, Macintosh, and Windows.
There are also PSK31 programs that run on phones and tablets.
