[Elecraft] K3: PSK31 Settings

I would appreciate some help with setting up the K3 for PSK. I am not clear as to what settings to use or just how to get them set. There appear to be three issues of concern.

1. K3 Line-In
2. Sound card output level
3. KL3 ALC 

I have set the K3 Line-in at 15.  I am using a E-MU 0202/USB external sound card.  I'm not sure how to set the output level ... And so far I haven't found a way to adjust the ALC to 4 bars in the Data A mode.  I must be missing a step somewhere.  I've searched the various "threads" but have yet to get it all sorted out.
