[Elecraft] P3 Utility not connecting

I'm surprised the K3 utility will connect - I understood it did not support the microHam protocol and am not surprised the P3 utility doesn't work either. I purchased a KUSB when I got the K3 for this very reason.
I'm using OSX btw, but that shouldn't come into the equation.
