The SteppIR controller should work using the "Kenwood" settings *IF*
you configure the K2 for AI1.  Please refer to the K2 Programmers
Reference available from the Elecraft web site.

You will need a cable that connects ONLY TxD (pin 2) and ground
(pin5) from the K2 to pin 2 and pin 5 of the SteppIR "Data In"
connector.  The SteppIR end of the cable will also require a
jumper between  pins 7 and 9.  The same cable works with the K3.

If you are not able to configure the K2 for AI1 operation, you
will need the SteppIR "Y" cable and a logging program that can
poll the K2.  The considerations are identical for either the
K2 or K3.
