The issue should not be one of the K3 changing its interface to suit
software.  The authors of the software should update their software
to support the hardware - just as they have done over the years to
support other new hardware.

The K3 is not the only transceiver that defaults to "LSB" CW reception.

Again, this is yet another case of "gotta make the K3 act just like
my YaeComWood."  If you want a Kenwood, buy a Kenwood.
