[Elecraft] K3 VFO A tension

Doug,
I'm away from the house & using my laptop which tends to have a mind
of its own when I type & sometimes where it types is in the middle of
something I wrote earlier (it jumps around if I rest my wrist on the
front when I type). It's a really cheap acer. I just re-read what I'd
replied with and man was it garbled...
Anyway, I never thought it might be the knob as the shaft looked like
it was staying in the same place when rotated but... I really didn't
examine it critically. I'll switch the knob to VFO B & see what
happens. I have a brand new VFO knob for my Corsair II which is still
in the TenTec wrapping from 15 years ago, I'll put that on VFO A &
see how it does.
You might have the answer there. Thanks for the idea.
