Folks,
I just added a hi-current LED to my K2 as a SPLIT/RIT/XIT indicator. Adding
the emitter follower transistor was a cinch. I used a 2N2907 PNP
transistor, connected the base where the cathode of the lo-cur LED would
have been, connected the collector where the anode of the lo-cur LED was to
be connected and connected the hi-current LED between the emitter and
ground. It worked FB and was plenty bright.
