[Elecraft] RE:split indicator for K2

Hi Rick:

IF you attempt this (though I suspect you're kidding), be aware that the 
LED specified for the SPLIT/RIT indicator is a Hi-Eff (e.g. very low 
current) device. If you (or anyone else) use a regular LED, you will have 
to add a driver transistor in order to allow the LED to draw more current. 
The Hi-Eff LED only draws 2 mA of current in the present circuit design.
