I do not know how many of the reflector's subscribers have visited Tom's
web-site. I have visited it before but after this exchange I spent an hour
on it today reading all of the instructional files. This is an incredible
resource. Strongly recommend all to visit (or even re-visit if its been a
while)!
Thanks Tom!

Hi Rick:
IF you attempt this (though I suspect you're kidding), be aware that the LED
specified for the SPLIT/RIT indicator is a Hi-Eff (e.g. very low
current) device. If you (or anyone else) use a regular LED, you will have to
add a driver transistor in order to allow the LED to draw more current.
The Hi-Eff LED only draws 2 mA of current in the present circuit design.
Have fun, kidding or not.
