[Elecraft] K1 on 80 meter 300 KHZ ?

Ooh!  See my previous message, and then adding Mike's suggestion, you
could do the cap mod, replace the tuning pot with one of half the value,
and then use a pair of FETs to switch in/out a resistor on either side
of the pot representing the "other half" of the pot's old value.
