The documentation for use of the KDSP2's dynamic noise reduction algorithms 
is really quite meager, considering its complexity and the considerable range
of adjustments provided. I've said this directly to the folks at Elecraft on
several occasions, and still not managed to smoke out anything that
approaches real documentation. 

I get the impression that the KDSP2 was designed outside Elecraft, and that
it is that designer who has dropped the ball.  That said, it is the Elecraft
name on the box, and the buck ultimately stops there. 

I'm pretty happy with the way the KSP2 works with the factory settings, but
it would take a lot more wandering around in the dark and a lot of trial and
error to make improvements.  How about it, Wayne and Eric?  Isn't it time
that a real operations manual is written for the KDSP2 that includes what
those funny words and numbers in the setup screens for the dynamic processing
mean?
