[Elecraft] function generator question

I have a F Generator with a 50 Ohm output and a Scope(TEK 2215A) with a =
1M Ohm input.  I was goin to hook up the generator to display the =
different types of waveforms to learn how to read the graticle.  (trying =
to teach myself how to use a scope) =20

Ive read to use a patch cable since both pieces of test equipment have =
bnc connectors.  Should I use 50, 75, or some other ohm rating.  Anyone =
who knows anything please jump in and educate me.

WT5Y  also if anyone knows how to determine the rise time of a scope and =
probe and what all else I need to know to buy a second probe for the =
scope.
