[Elecraft] Bits in KSB2 Kits supplied with #4114

Hi there, just a quick note.

suppled in the KSB2 kit were two PN2222A and a 2N3906.

Stupidly, I assumed that the 2N3906 was equivilent to the 2222's and fitted 
it as Q1. Oddly enough it did'nt work ! as, while the two devices have similar 
pinouts, one is NPN and the other is PNP. I don't know if this is just a one 
off slip-up, but its better to publish and warn other builders of the possibility 
for error here.

My KSB2 now appears to be working ok after fitting a BC184.

 Now for the Mic Header. Did I see a mod for this somewhere for using 
different Mics with the ability to change over quickly?

5 hours of headscratching, and a missed oportunity for a meeting on sked 
with my new K2 ;-(  such is life, and where I'm concerned.. read my SIG ;-)
