[Elecraft] 8 pol connector

Hi

The K2 front panel has a header connected to the mike connector. All 8 =
of the pins can be wired any way you like by using jumper wires or push =
on header jumpers. If you use straight across jumpers connecting 1 to 1 =
and 2 to 2 etc. then the K2 is wired for a Kenwood style mike. The =
Elecraft mikes are wired as Kenwood also. It is also possible to use a =
16 pin IDC connector like used with ribbon cable as a wiring header. If =
you build several of them with the different wiring it is easy to swap =
from one type of mike to another by just plugging the correct scrambling =
plug.
