Good Evening (or morning) to my fellow Elecraft folks,
Another week has come and gone and Sunday is quickly upon us. If your
radios are ready, your antennas are willing, and your supply of
electricity is sufficient please try checking in with us on the Elecraft
CW Net. If I can't get you directly just wait a bit and I'll have someone
further East of me try calling the net. Please check in with them if I
cannot hear you.

Propagation being a mysterious quantity sometimes you can hear me just
fine and I don't have a hoot nor holler you are out there trying to call
me. If someone hears another person trying to check that I obviously
cannot hear them please lend a hand and tell me. Then you get your chance
for glory while supplying a necessary service to assist the next person
onto the list.

If there is someone you wish to contact please list your QTC with either
me or one of the QSP stations and we'll get you hooked up off frequency.
Either up or down 5 kc and you can take it from there. Please be ready to
provide your name, state, rig type, and serial number so I can get them
logged. A web site with a little history, some statistics, and a few
procedures for the net will appear soon. I'll keep you posted. There is
also an ECN QSL card I'll put up there.

ECN needs DE, KY, MT, NE, NH, SD, VT, and WY to achieve WAS as a network.
If any of you in any of those states are willing to make a contribution of
your time or electricity please join us and have some fun.

20 meters at 2300z Sunday (3 PM PST Sunday) on 14050 kHz or there abouts.

40 meters at 0300z Monday (7 PM PST Sunday) on 7045 kHz or down (I need to
avoid
an SSB net north of the border).

See you then,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class).
