[Elecraft] K2 RF bd Resistance check (8B) U6 pin 8 to gnd 38 ohms

Hi everyone. My K2, s/n 4060 building has gone 'by the
book' until this one resistance measurement. I get 38
ohms rather than the >100 ohms specified from U6 pin 8
to gnd. I don't really consider this reading to be 'in
the ballpark', but don't want to start yanking
components if it's acceptable.
Since it wasn't a dead short, I did some cursory
checking and then applied power. The 8v seems ok on U6
pin 8 and the alignment tests, Part II on pgs 60 and
61 have gone fine. The only oddity I've noticed is
that the s-meter is at s-4 with the rf gain fully
clockwise whereas I'd adjusted it to read properly
during the Alignment and Test, Part I. 
Should I start lifting components, or is this one of
those things that is considered more or less normal?
