[Elecraft] KX1 Question - U1

Received my KX1 the other day and everything is going together well.

One quick question on U1 (28pin main chip)... Should this push all the way
down into it's housing or will it be raised up slightly ?? I expected the
pins to push all the way down to their shoulders but I can't get it any
further and there is still a gap of about 2mm.

It's does seem to be secure and all tests at the end of alignment step 1
were fine.

Also had a 27pF cap missing (C2) but no big deal..
