I was just all over the Elecraft web page and for the life of me I
couldn't find the EQParty rules...am I going blind?...72 - Bruce

Yes, I see your point, Wayne.
I'm not sure that I can push a pencil anymore, though! Manual book
keeping, dupe checking, HAND SENDING (yikes)! But, it would be nice to
not have the PC running and observer the quietness of the band, a memory
long ago vanished! Ya know, I think I'll give it a try!

It'll be a lot of fun either way.
Personally, I prefer the visceral, ancient connection between operator
and log;
the sweaty grip of the Ticonderoga, or the Bic; the ambiguity and
imperfection
of hastened entries, fontless and freeform. I seek the expressive void
of
the
margin, begging for a quip, a doodle, or a jotted note. And I can the
just smell
the crisp, recycled 28-pound card stock, laboring in the noontime sun,
dog-eared
and infused with the stains of battle, be they cola, pepperoni, or
decaf.
More important, I use an end-fed wire antenna. My computer trashes the
bands.
