Darn!   I guess my good luck with my EC endeavors has finally bottomed
out... I finished the ATU went through the initial test OK, then attempted
the C55 (Null) at 5 watt setting, got Hi Current warning..

1.   Reduced the power to 1 watt and, using the display button to show
voltage and current, it was showing a bunch of current, like 1.78 amps and
rising.   High SWR?

2.   Started checking from the K2 Aux. RF port for continuity.    Checked
fine (0.3 ohms) to the BNC on the ATU.

3.   Split the ATU, jumpered the input of the LC network to the output (on
the control board) and got a normal signal (1.6 amps @ 5 watts) out to the
dummy load.  Hmmmm.... signal getting through T1and antenna switching relay
OK, right?  Now, the problem must be on the LC board, right?   Maybe one or
more of the inductors are switched in?  (Does the ATU null menu function
place all the relays in by-pass position... regardless of their previous
state?)

4.   Checked continuity through relays 1-8 and all showed around 0.01 ohms
with a path around all the inductors.  K17 capacitor relay switched out.
I'm baffled.

Any suggestions or advice on how to proceed will be appreciated.  (Right
now, I'm inclined to order a new set of relays and change them out.)
And... considering that, any tips on how best to remove those little 10
legged beasties with the least amount of damaged traces???
