Jim, that's correct if you're in the ALC mode.  If you push the display =
button you'll go into the RF mode and the bars will go from left to =
right and be more gererous.  The ALC mode tends to just light a bar or =
two depending on which stage of compression you have selected.

Sounds like all is OK.
