[Elecraft] Reasons to Split a K2/100?

if you remote the kpa100 and the kat100 then beside the I/o cable don't you
need to run an rf line to the back of the ec2 and then don't you need to run
a jumper out of the kpa100 into the kat100 and then out to the antenna?
