I paid $80 or $100 bucks for my meter, but I remember paying even more for a
good set of leads. Maybe the $200 meters come with decent leads, but most
cheaper ones don't. I probably could have found them on the 'net, but to see
and feel them, I had to go to a high-end store. I wanted that highly
flexible, silicone feel (or is it natural rubber).
As to the wife "helping" in decisions, I once came home from the Liquor
store with some cheap Scotch. My wife made me take it back (I didn't know
they did exchanges!) and get some of the Glen Livet 18.

But how could I argue with a woman who was a process engineer for 17 years
in defect metrology? All that training and I am supposed to second guess
her?
