Folks,
Be aware that using the "old analogue VOM" for resistance measurements is
NOT RECOMMENDED.
Some VOMs use a relatively high voltage source for resistance measurements
and can destroy today's sensitive circuits (like FETs and micrprocessors -
most anything that is a static sensitive device).
Yes there are several that are safe to use - but if you are not certain of
your VOM characteristics, stick to the DVM when doing resistance
measurements in your K2 - you don't want to create extra problems (and
damage) while troubleshooting.
