Rick,
To set the filter trimmers I used a jewelers screwdriver covered with
electrical tape where it was held.
I then simply listened for greatest signal strength.
Good luck,

This is with the filter in the narrowest setting. Is this a problem? Also, can anyone tell me what kind of tool that works well to set the 20 and 40 meter bandpass filters in the KX1. None of my alignment tools seems to work well. Is it a good idea to use a multimeter at the headphone jack to set the filters? Thanks - Rick - K7MW
