I wondered if it was something like that.  Mine went together just fine.

My K2 is now complete with the exception of the substitution I did for=20
RFC15.  It was stable enough to complete alignment and testing, but=20
gets a little unstable at higher power settings.  I don't think I will=20
put it on the air until I can get a replacement for RFC15.

Thanks to all who answered with words of advice and encouragement. =20
Suffice to say that all wounds were self-inflicted.  When I build my=20
next K2, I won't be in such a hurry.  :}
