[Elecraft] G5RV - Varney's controversial antenna

For all the G5RV guys that suffer from e-mail diarrhea. (I
will get a tongue lashing for this, I guess!!)

All you guys having protracted e-mail discussions, about
Varney's G5RV antenna, do have a look in the RSGB handbook
called "Wire Antenna's" (quite an old book now - it's a very
old antenna as well!)

In this publication, there is quite a long dissitation about
the antenna, and an excellent laboratory test, carried out
by Dr. Brian Austin - ZS6BKW. He has spent many, many hours
tinkering with this antenna!

You will be happy and disappointed in the laboratory
results, and many of the rumours currently rife about the
antenna are dispelled by his findings!

Do yourself a favour and try to procure the article, I think
you will be surprised!
