No it Shouldn't slow the QSK 'Way down' since the little time it adds at 
the key closure comes from the timing at the keyup side  of things.

I haven't tried Wayne's version but I did find that the keyclick mod made 
QSK a hair slower :-( and I can no longer hear between the dots at 25 wpm 
but I can at 22 Wpm
