Are you speaking of "Practical Wire Antennas" by John D. Heys, G3BDQ and
published by the RSGB? If so it is currently in print and does discuss =
the
G5RV along with a good many others but I don't find anything about the =
work
you mentioned by ZS6BKV.=20

If that isn't the one you were thinking of, do you have an author's =
name?=20

In this publication, there is quite a long dissitation about the =
antenna,
and an excellent laboratory test, carried out by Dr. Brian Austin - =
ZS6BKW.
He has spent many, many hours tinkering with this antenna!

You will be happy and disappointed in the laboratory
results, and many of the rumours currently rife about the antenna are
dispelled by his findings!

Do yourself a favour and try to procure the article, I think you will be
surprised!
