[Elecraft] Tuning With High Power

Had the following behavior on K2 and KAT2:

I have a bad antenna for 160m. Autotuner can only get 2,7:1 SWVR. Tuner in
auto mode. Power on maximum. When keying display shows HiCurrent and reduce
power to nearly 7 W. Then I press 'display' and 'ANT 1/2' together to see
the emmitted and reflected power on display. K2 goes on transmiting with
nearly 7 W and - starts auto tuning - with full power! No reduced power! K2
has serial number 3227. Firmware normally reduce power to 2 W when tuning.

Is this normal or a firmware bug?
