Frank,

You can usually get rid of the HiCur indication if you drop the Power
(requested) control back to about 7 watts.

As far as the tuner going into auto tune, I can offer no comment.  If it
repeatable, I would venture a guess that it is a firmware oversight (aka
'bug').
