[Elecraft] R.S. 22-503 3A Switching P.S. Schematic Wanted

Might anyone share with me the schematic and/or service manual for this switching 3A power supply from Radio Shack

I see mod articles out on the web, to take it up to 14+V, but
I actually want to take one down to about 12.2V, from it's current
default 13.8V, and I don't believe change in R1 is sufficient
to pull it down.

Looks to me as if a zener and resistor are controlling the V-out,
but I have no idea what the zener is.
