You can also just go into keyer speed adjustment mode by holding SPPEED. This
allows off-air keyer test and adjustment.

The advantage of using "CW test" mode (P=0) is that you can also play back
message buffers and hear what they sound like without transmitting.

Note that CW test mode will be cancelled if you turn power off and back on. We
didn't want to make this mode "sticky" lest someone forget they were in test
mode during an emergency.
