Hi

You can put the KX1 into test mode so the power out is 0. Your batteries =
will last a lot longer not needing to heat the dummy load. Just go into =
the menu and locate PLY then tap the VFO knob and this sets the power =
out to P=3D0. Then you can use the KX1 for code practice without the =
need for the dummy load or the power drain from the battery. To put it =
back to normal just repeat the steps above tapping the VFO knob will =
toggle it on and off.=20

  Okay the KX1 S# 57 is all done with 30 meters, the ATU and the Paddle.
