Thanks for the report, John. This is what we designed the KX1 for--operating
from anywhere. 

I work at home designing ham radio products, so I can deploy wires around the
house whenever I need to without much objection from my XYL. But where do you
work? And is it only on Sunday that you can get away with this?  ;)
