[Elecraft] KX1 #141 is born !!

K2 # 644 and K1 #1605 are happy to announce the birth of their small =
brother the KX1 #141

I spent about 8 hours to built the entire kit : 2 hours for part 1, 4 =
hours for part 2 and 2 hours for part 3

The parts inventoy was OK at 100%

Absolutely no trouble during the kit building; this one is rather small =
and the component density on the board is high !! I need a binocular for =
some confirmations on solder point quality !
I have just to disassembly the board from the top cover due to a short =
on Q6 around the shoulder washer : I found a tiny metallic part locked =
inside the washer !! after removing it all was OK.

First QSO's were on 7 MHZ with europeans; I tried 14 MHZ later, and was =
happy to QSO George GI4SRQ with its KX1 #051, and also TA2ES/QRP; later, =
back on 7 MHZ I QSO EX8MLE Sergey from BISHKEK in KIRGYSTAN (a long way =
from here !)

After the dinner I built the KXB30 option : a 30 minutes effort, with =
some difficult time to finely adjust the small board in order to have =
the trimmers exactly in line with the 2 holes on the main board ... but =
finely I was QRV on 30 m and made a QSO with a SP station.

A superb kit as usual ...=20

Thanks again to Wayne and Eric for the the pleasant time I had today to =
built my KX1
