Dear friends,
I have a revolutionary concept to reveal to the
group! Please consider it not in haste, but allow
some reflective period to absorb its ramifications:
When tuning either of these rigs, I have discovered
(Eureka!) that if I rest my fingertip (tm) on the
front face of the (unadorned) tuning knob, with light
to moderate pressure, it STAYS IN PLACE while I
describe a circular motion with my finger. Thus, I can
readily travel to distant frequencies, with nary a
fimple to hinder my finger's freeedom to roam about
said knob-face.

My contribution to this discussion :
If you live on a seacoast, buy a crab or lobster. Remove the fat
rubber bands used to hold its claws shut. Cook and eat the
crab/lobster, preferably with melted butter or mayonnaise and a nice
dry riesling, and put one of the rubber bands around the K1/K2 tuning
knob. Now the edge of your finger, laid along the EDGE of the tuning
knob, will stick to the edge of the knob and and you can twirl it
easily.
If you live in the middle of a continent, you'll just have to buy a
tuning dimple. But you can still drink the riesling. =)

If God intended you to use SSB, He wouldn't have given you a fist. Or
two lungs.
