[Elecraft] Unable to mate front panel to FP board due to mic connector bead size

Guess I got lucky. When I read the original message I was about 3 steps
away from the first time fitting of my front panel on my new SN 3504 - I
checked it straightaway!. But mine is fine. Thank goodness. The K2 has been
the best engineered kit I have ever seen. And from what I can tell, the
finished product is well designed to be worked on- something that as an ET
with 23 years experience I have really learned to appreciate.
BTW, as far as soldering irons go, I'd like to mention that I just got
a Weller WESD51 and it's a dream come true. I'm building the kit with an
ETA tip with Kester 63/37 and the temp set on 650. Works like a charm.
