[Elecraft] K1 Receiver Alignment

Hi Guys, Fired up my K1 last night (rx only, tx not done yet) can't believe
it all works fine exactly as the book. VFO adjusted OK but now I need to
align the receiver. I have a xtal marker (every 2.5khz) do you think I
could use this for alignment. Also I have a 20meg scope, would this be any
use instead of my ears? if so where would I connect it?

Any thoughts?
