Preaching to the choir?


I received the 100W amp module Thursday afternoon and built it yesterday. It
went together even easier than the K2 kit--the photos of the toroids in the
manual are especially handy to expedite construction.

Have worked a few DX stations so far with no reported difficulty. Seems to
provide full output on all bands, as anticipated. QSK is perfect.

Construction time: less than 13 hours (including time spent searching for a
dropped encapsulated inductor that was well hidden on my (less than clean)
floor).

Only issue: Victoria has finally lost her "perfect" status--the kit was
missing ONE 15k ohm resistor... shucks! Before, every bag with her "packed
by" label was complete in all respects. I suppose it could have dropped on
the floor, too... Thank goodness it was only a standard resistor, and not
the finals, hi...
