Similar here. I have played with loading the messages at exaggerated "slow"
and "fast" speeds and the only conclusion I came to was that if you hesitate
in the slightest between characters, during recording, the memory will
insert an automatic 'space' of some duration. So I suggest like Mike did, go
'hard' at it, for lack of a better term.
