Hi Bob,

I use a Velleman handheld scope. I've got the earlier version which I've had
for 3 years, but the 7105 model is supposed to be good. It works ok up to
5Mhz ac.I would recommend that it is used with a good set of probes.

I use it all the time for all sorts of stuff from embedded controller
projects to restoring old heathkit gear.

Because it's portable and runs off batteries, and has a plastic case, it is
fine for propping up in or near those awkward high-voltage places.

I had an oziscope for about half a day and gave up on it as I found that it
was just too inflexible for use.

My other scope, which I have never used since I got the velleman is a hameg
dual trace scope. which I've had for about 20 years.

Regards
Tony
